We need women who can detect deception in all of its forms. We need women who know how to access the power that God makes available to covenant keepers and who express their beliefs with confidence and charity." I LOVE THAT!! There is SO MUCH in that! Yes, we know that Satan will be bound because of the righteousness of the people but I hadn't thought about my role to help raise a sin-resistant generation. It gives me goosebumps to think that I could play such a role! Hey, I'm almost ready to retire! "Detect deception in all its forms"...wow... and 'know how to access the power that God makes available to covenant keepers"...I'm a covenant keeper but don't think I know how to fully access that power He's made available. "A bedrock of understanding of the doctrine of Christ"...One of my favorite quotations is from Gerald Lund's preface to the 4th volume of The Work and The Glory. Here it is, in part:
"Those few terrible months in Missouri bring a lesson that should cause
us sober reflection. There are no warranties against wavering. Aligning
ourselves with the Lord and his cause is a commitment that must be made again and again, day after day. Unless we ground ourselves in faith, and sink down our foundations to the bedrock of Jesus Christ, and commit
ourselves to follow those whom he has called to lead us, we too may
falter and fall."
Thank you for your strength! You are stronger than you realize and lift many!

Love, Sister Hart
Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01439982006984981343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3795898257520402163.post-46072681629958979052015-10-11T19:12:48.909-07:002015-10-11T19:12:48.909-07:00Sister O, you just glow!!!
